What I liked

Working for DAWSON has been such an unforgettable experience. My favorite part of this internship is that I am immersed in every part of every project; from proposal stage, to monthly invoicing, to brainstorming, to the close-out stage. I have enjoyed seeing a project sprout, the work on site begin, and the final result complete. It reminds me that our team had a little piece in the entire process, from start to finish.

What I wish was different

Although my internship was not remote and was located on Eglin Air Force Base, I do wish I could have experienced it without the presence of COVID-19.

Advice

With this experience, be versatile. Be open to new experiences, new positions, and be able to adapt to the situations surrounding you. DAWSON excels in teamwork. Be able to be a team player. Despite COVID-19, I was able to adapt and excel in this position.
