What I liked

During my internship, I was able to learn and master several different media applications which are very prevalent in the industry. Most people only get to work with one or two programs as most jobs are quite niche in subject, but, because I was handling social media, websites, data analytics and more, I gained proficiency in multiple areas quickly.

What I wish was different

I thrive most in structure and, as in most situations like mine that operate under a small business, there was no structure. Every day I was spread all across the board working on many different things at once, which I found quite stressful. It did teach me responsibility, but it was never something I *didn't* struggle with during my internship.

Advice

Keep an open mind and be willing to go the extra mile. There is so much to get done and you need to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in order for everything to run smoothly. Of course, there will be obstacles and issues in getting things done at a fast rate in many areas, but set your own schedule and make your own goals and you should be fine.
