About Noga Klain & Associates, Inc.

Mission Statement

Noga Klain and Associates, Inc opened up to provide the communities of Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties an alternative to the large, corporate approach to applied behavior analysis, sometimes colloquially referred to as in home behavior therapy. We believe in the core values of the Board of Behavior Analysts (BACB), outlined in their ethics codes. We begin and end with these ethics codes as our guides for practicing safely, morally, ethically, and legally.

We strive to achieve the highest quality of behavior analytic services, maintaining client and provider dignity throughout the process. We care for the wellbeing and growth of each client family we work with. We work outside of typical hours, thinking outside the box, providing self funded materials and resources to ensure we provide the support and guidance the client family needs to be successful.

Each professional on our team has their unique experiences, trainings outside the required BACB guidelines, creativity that they bring to each case. We honor and highlight each professional's individuality to succeed with each family they work with. Each team of professionals requires its members to respect one another, respect the science of behavior analysis, and respect the ethics of the BACB while practicing behavior analysis with each client.

About the Owner, Noga Klain
I am a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) working in the Los Angeles, Ventura, and Orange Counties. I started this company at the end of 2012 to provide the highest quality of care to individuals, groups who struggle with behavior problems. I wanted to help the entire community, any age, any diagnosis, no diagnosis at all! Really apply behavior analysis to anyone who wanted the help. I really wanted to create a company where I'd love to work, where every clinician is supported, happy, enjoys what they do, is proud of what they do, and so provides the highest quality of care.

A little bit of my history.....

I began working in this field during my undergraduate studies at the University of California, San Diego in 2006 in the autism clinic on campus. I was an informal research assistant running trials for the graduate students on Pivotal Response Training (PRT) and teaching initiation and beginning sounds to children with autism ages 3-5. I became sucked into the field of behavior modification and applied behavior analysis (ABA) in those initial years.

I graduated in 2007 from UCSD and began working as a behavior interventionist in the Los Angeles Unified School District helping children with various diagnoses mainstream and become independent. After a few years of working in the schools, I began working with the children and their families in their homes. Once I received my Masters, I qualified to supervise those one-on-one behavior therapists and train the parents. My role became a trainer, mentor, and supporter to the staff and families.

While supervising, I received my Masters from Pepperdine University in 2010, took continuing education classes from Florida Institute of Technology to qualify to sit for the BCBA exam from 2010 - 2012. I received my BCBA from the behavior analyst certification board in June 2012.

Quickly afterwards, I opened up Noga Klain and Associates, Inc.
