About TAMUCC Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence & Innovation

Lone Star UAS Center of Excellence and Innovation (LSUASC) is a Research & Innovation facility at TAMU-CC dedicated to the innovation and safety of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) flights throughout the U.S. LSUASC is one of seven Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) UAS test sites in the United States. LSUASC main offices are located at TAMU-CC Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center in Flour Bluff.

Our mission is to advance the integration of UAS and Autonomous Aviation (AAV) technologies across educational, public, and commercial agency interests. We provide an economic stimulus to attract industry partners to Texas and inform governing agencies on related operations in the National Airspace System.
