The freedom to conduct and take charge of my own research and archival contributions.

What I wish was different

Onboarding paperwork and processing took much longer than expected; I was supposed to start in January but nothing was prepared so I waited an entire month to begin this internship.

Advice

Be creative and don't underestimate the power of an oral history interview! Everybody has something to contribute to history.

What I liked

What I like about this job is that is a fun environment and you get to meet a lot of people. Also that they are really flexible when it comes to schedules, they adjust to your classes schedule.

What I wish was different

When I started working here I started working remotely, I really liked that. However I wished I had started in person since the beginning, so I could of met my coworkers.

Advice

Enjoy what you do, and be passionate about it. Always try to do the best on your work.
