I enjoyed the work environment - fast-paced yet relaxed in a way that I always felt comfortable asking questions and referring to my supervisor if I was uncertain on one of the many projects I was working on.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to start sooner and spend more time working in this department!
Advice
I would advise other interns, if in a similar position, to start their projects early in some capacity. Don't be in a rush to get everything done at once, but at least start research or initial stages of work so you have something to discuss with your supervisor - and you'll know what questions to ask.
