The Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness Foundation is a non-profit, "Friends-Of" type organization that provides good stewardship of the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. We provide active outdoor opportunities for people to get more intimately involved in the care and preservation of one of this country's largest and most beautifully pristine wilderness areas. We conduct "boots-on-the-ground" projects that utilize volunteers to complete trail building and maintenance work, educational outreach and citizen science projects.
