“The work atmosphere at Ackerman Cancer Center allows all of the employees to feel like family. There is a level of trust, warmth, and sense of reliability felt between the staff members that transfers to how we treat our patients. In addition, it was an eye opening experience for me as I am interested in the medical social work field. Working alongside oncology social workers and interacting with patients provided me with invaluable lessons and experiences that I will use moving forward with my education”
