It was an amazing clinical experience and I learned a lot. It was a very steep learning curve but at the end, I felt so accomplished and certain that medical school was the path for me. I also talked to others who were on the same journey who worked with me and they gave me lots of good advice and I got to network with many different types of providers.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been warned of how high pressure of an environment it would be.
Advice
I would definitely recommend applying to as many jobs as possible even if you don’t have experience. If you show you are proactive and will work really hard then employers will see that.
