The management was didn't seem to care much about their employees.

Just remember not to takes things to personal when the individuals you work with have a bad day.

What I liked
Such a fun atmosphere and it was great experience. I was able to learn a lot of good life skills and skills that will be helpful in my major. It has set hours and gives you nights, weekends, and holidays off.
What I wish was different
Higher pay.
Advice
Have fun! Be moldable and adaptable. It can be a challenging job, but you will learn so much.

What I liked
It is amazing to work with the youth at CETC. They are so energetic and fun-loving, which totally matches the personality of the staff. You won’t have a dull day all summer.
What I wish was different
I wish that the program started sooner so that it would last longer and we got more time with the youth.
Advice
It is not quite full time unless you sign up for one of the driving positions in either the morning or the afternoon.
Don’t go into the job thinking it will be easy just because it is fun. It is hard work, and all of the youth have some form of disability that requires specific rules and procedures, so if that’s not what you’re looking for, this might not be a good fit.

What I liked
I loved feeling like every day I was improving in my abilities to help these individuals connect with each other and the community.
What I wish was different
I know constructive criticism is important but I don’t have anything I would change. The staff was awesome and each day was planned out very well with awesome hours.
Advice
Apply early so that you can get all of the trainings done in time.

Cache is a great place to work. The clients and staff are super great and fun to be around.

Advice
It might be a little overwhelming at first, with the paperwork and such, but once you get into the swing of things, it's a snap. Just focus on helping the clients and you'll enjoy this job!
