I loved the application & interview process. I also loved that I could meet with the director to learn more about the camp before I even applied.
What I wish was different
I wish that there were more time to have a conversation on campus while the recruiter/director was scheduled to be here.
Advice
I would suggest that anyone genuinely interested, should participate in the group interview at the camp.

What I liked
The children! You get every type of child and it’s so amazing to see hundreds of kids come together for a week. It’s like a mini village. The games and being on the lake is always a bonus.
What I wish was different
More staff members! This year we were pushing the bare minimum and it’s hard if someone gets sick because there isn’t someone to fill that role.
Advice
Remembering why you’re doing it. Going back to the heart of why you applied and what your goal is helps a lot more than you think. Kids will be kids no matter how good or bad you think they are.
