Camp Nurse

June 2019 - August 2019 Eagle River, WI
“Camp was so much fun and a great learning experience for anyone wanting to learn more about nursing. It is a camp for boys ages 8-16 years and they participate in a lot of sports! I was able to work under a regular camp physician and they had different physicians visit every week. It is expected that the nurses attend sick call or med pass four times a day and that one of the nurses is on call 24/7 to respond to emergency situations. There is plenty of down time to participate in camp activities, watch sports, do crafts, go on walks, and be independent. It was a great experience and I recommend it to those going into nursing! They provide free food and free housing too!”
