What I liked

I really enjoyed the office experience with my co-workers and manager, everyone has been so pleasant to work with. The office had just hired a new team and I was part of reorganizing the office an creating new procedures of how the office should be run. I learned a lot by both my manger and her boss.

What I wish was different

I wish I could have shadowed or regional manager who is a senior portfolio manager more because the amount of experience and knowledge he has is amazing!

Advice

Even if what you are offered while looking for an internship or a "summer job" is not exactly what you wanted. It is always great to still take it because you only gain knowledge not loose any. Keeping an optimistic and open mind specially during this pandemic is very important and you never know where it might take you,
