About Carriage House Children's Center

Carriage House Children's Center, Inc., founded in 1974, has earned a reputation in Pittsburgh as a model developmental program for children ages six weeks to six years. We offer a varied and flexible program that emphasizes the importance of each child as a unique and valued person.

Our Center is non-profit, non-sectarian, and conveniently located in Squirrel Hill in the Wightman School Community Building. We offer part-time and full-time care for families. The Center, which is open from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs and licensed by the Department of Public Welfare. The pre-school is also licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
