I thoroughly enjoyed getting to learn more about the mule deer industry. My internship at Cedar Breaks Deer Ranch offered an extensive look inside the mule deer industry's standards and top of the line genetics.

What I wish was different

Advice

Be willing to go into the internship with an open mind. You will be exposed to a multitude of different experiences throughout the duration of the internship (fawn health, record keeping, machinery, etc.). Use these learning opportunities to your advantage!
