The CILCP is a private, non-profit consumer-driven organization, run and administered by people with disabilities. The purpose of the CILCP is to promote the independent living philosophy, consumer control, peer support, self-help, self-determination, equal access, and individual and systems advocacy, in order to maximize the leadership, empowerment, independence, and productivity of individuals with disabilities.
In addition to the above services, the CILCP provides home care services for people with physical disabilities and intellectual disabilities, nursing home transition services, ADA technical assistance and training, free Direct Care Worker training, and Aging and Disability Resource Center Coordinator for Dauphin and Perry Counties.
