My boss was a pleasure to work with, and she was very patient with me. I loved getting to work with someone with cerebral palsy. Being able to make her smile and keep her entertained while she stayed home most days was rewarding. My boss also wrote an autobiography called "Beyond the Wheelchair" and I truly enjoyed learning about her and her life.

One piece of advice I would give to anyone going into a health profession, or as a personal care aide; take every opportunity you can get to give you experience because you truly will not regret it.
