I love the flexibility of this position as well as the community I get to be involved in! I get to change my hours to attend events to capture content and work around my class schedule to make sure I have enough time for everything.
What I wish was different
I wish I had met more folks in the marketing department sooner. It has been great to meet them in these last few months but I would have loved to be able to work with them before now!
Advice
Do not be scared to ask to branch out! Often times if there is a lull in my work I have been able to do professional development modules and learn new tools. Or even just suggesting ideas for what may work for a new social media campaign!
