I really loved the opportunity to teach. I am an art Ed major and having the chance to teach high schoolers art as well as giving a sermon one evening was very helpful for the development of my public speaking skills.
What I wish was different
It wasn't a very structured internship. I was often told I could do what I wanted, which was too open-ended.
Advice
If you are interested in church ministry at all, this summer internship provides great opportunities to see the ins and outs of it.

What I liked
I love the work environment. Extremely friendly staff. It is not a high stress level position. You do your daily rounds, easy tasks, manual labor, and get to interact with great people. Great position for somebody in college.
What I wish was different
I wish there was more communication among the facilities team in regard to what tasks need done as well as hourly expectations.
Advice
It is a thankless job, considering you're basically a custodian who sets up and cleans up events. But be thankful because it is such a flexible place to work and enjoyable environment.
