What I liked
I love the education classes provided by Christiana, as well as their warm welcoming environment in work. My coworkers are so warm and inviting to provide experienced advice. They're so amazing at listening to me and answering my questions while providing me with experiences that I will use after I graduate.
What I wish was different
Honestly, nothing.
Advice
I'd advise to use the resources on campus to help build my resume and advise what employers are looking for. The center gave me the key to help me stand out amongst all other students who applied for my position.

What I liked
I love how I experienced about the hospital setting, met wonderful and hard-working staffs who boost up my confidence to reach my goals no matter how hard it can be.
What I wish was different
Nothing. I had a wonderful internship with Christiana Care and I will always remember those people who taught me a lot of things and made me feel so welcomed.
Advice
Just keep your door open to any opportunities that can come on your way, because sometimes those are the opportunities that will shape you to be the person you want to be and get you ready for that future career you want.

What I liked
I have absolutely loved my experience as a perioperative student nurse extern. I feel like this position really taught me more about the perioperative setting, and encouraged me to utilize the skills I learned in nursing school.
What I wish was different
Nothing really! I still work in this position and absolutely enjoy going to work every week!
Advice
I found this experience to be very rewarding and helpful in solidifying my nursing skills. I would encourage everyone who is in nursing school to gain experience in an externship or internship because it helps gain confidence in health care outside of the nursing school clinical setting.

I loved being able to master the nursing skills I've been learning in class, and learn which field of nursing I am interested in. I enjoyed being able t collaborate with a care team!
