Ocean City is a world famous seashore community and family resort on New Jersey's coastal Jersey Shore. The city has a string of beaches and a boardwalk with shops, eateries and amusement parks. Gillian’s Wonderland Pier offers classic rides like the Giant Wheel. Playland’s Castaway Cove features several roller coasters and themed mini-golf. To the south, Corson’s Inlet State Park, with trails and a boat launch, attracts shorebirds to its dunes and wetlands.
As a summer resort, the City of Ocean City has a vast entertainment schedule. Along with numerous outdoor events, the Music Pier hosts a variety of entertainment including the Ocean City Pops Orchestra a couple times a week, various productions by the Ocean City Theatre Company, our Summer Concert Series (including acts such as The Beach Boys, George Thorogood, and The Indigo Girls to name a few), numerous pageants, as well as a number of different one-off shows.
