What I liked

I liked that I was able to tour the Water Quality Control Plant in Riverside and Burrtec Waste's Materials Recovery Facility in Fontana, I also volunteer at CRRA's 45th Annual Conference & Trade Show, network with professionals from the EPA, City of Riverside, City of Fontana, CRRA, and County of Riverside, and build long-lasting connections with my fellow interns.

What I wish was different

It would have been a greater experience if it was in person and not remote but of course, it was safer to take precaution this summer.

Advice

To take advantage of all the resources given by this internship such as touring the facilities and volunteering as many days as possible to any events since you will have more opportunities to network.
