What I liked
The networking opportunities I had access to: being able to meet the heads of many departments and divisions within city government, the positions I want to work in in the future, getting to learn about how government professionals entered their positions, and what I needed to do in order to work with them full-time someday. I also liked the flexibility and freedom I had with my hours. I really liked what I did, which included helping organize and help sort the Business Development division's paperwork with them, review small business applications, and gain an understanding of how government and the general public intersected in real-time.
