What I liked

I enjoyed learning new skills that I can take with me as an accountant. Working for the Air Force is an honor plus I get to learn new budgeting strategies while I'm serving our country as an auxiliary service to the military.

What I wish was different

I enjoy CAP, Civil Air Patrol, but I wish we would have more days to volunteer during the week.

Advice

This experience has helped me to gain hands on training in the finance department, plus I get to choose other training programs as a member that they offer. It really is an honor to help the cadets train before entering the Air Force, and learn aerospace engineering plus emergency services all in one. I love the fact that you're not stuck in a department, but can learn and earn badges for other types of training.
