“The engineering team at CodeHS was very supportive and taught me a lot. I liked that I worked on projects that involved colleagues from other teams (i.e. marketing) so that I could work closely with professionals in different fields and work on meaningful products. I loved that the work done at this company benefits younger students and can have an impact on their lives. My 2021 summer internship was hybrid, so it was nice to work in person and also have the flexibility of working from home. I came in without having extensive experience working on real-life, non-trivial projects so I was worried I wouldn't be able to contribute sufficiently, but I ended up learning tons and working on really cool things. ”
