The teams work culture prioritized students and made constant efforts for flexible schedules for full time students. Were very understanding and supportive.
What I wish was different
Our only form of interaction is virtually through daily zoom meetings. No one has their camera on, makes it harder to feel part of an actual community. There is no interaction among interns this would be helpful with making connections and developing team building exercises. Through my experience with networking most people said what mattered most was their coworkers not the actual work and supervision. The people around you help with Job satisfaction and motivation within accomplishing companies goals.
Advice
As an intern while the position is very entry level. It’s important to treat it professionally and don’t overwork yourself. Make your needs and priorities straight from day one to receive mutual treatment back.
