I really liked the flexibility I was allowed in my schedule as I was also working a second job at the time of this internship. My internship was split between the Youth Bureau and Operation Unite, a non-profit organization. I was able to learn different aspects from each position, seeing how local government operates as well as how a non-profit functions. My day was never really the same.
What I wish was different
At times I didn't feel challenged enough.
Advice
Make as many connections within the county as possible. It can lead to a lot of opportunities in the future.
