I loved the ability to dip my toes into several types of ministering to people. We worked with children and adults in the community as well as within the church. I also greatly appreciated the mentoring I received during the summer, because that really helped me grow in my relationship with Christ.
What I wish was different
I would have liked a little more structure for the end of the summer, but I think that was because we kind of lost our focus as a team in the last few weeks.
Advice
This opportunity really helped me to grow spiritually by equipping me to take initiative, to coordinate, and to lead events, and it challenged me to grow in all aspects of my life.
