Law Assistant Intern

What I liked

Working with Cooltured was one of the best experiences I've had in an internship. The company's culture and environment were incredibly welcoming and my supervisors were always very supportive, kind, and easy to talk to. What I especially like about Cooltured is how much they value their interns and foster a positive relationship with them. The internship was flexible and they allowed interns to monitor their own schedule. This allowed me to focus on school-related matters while working on the internship. My supervisor, Ms. Chole, would also take the time to review my work with me and suggest where I needed room for improvement or what I did well. At Cooltured, I really felt my work was appreciated and that I made a worthwhile contribution to the site, as well as feeling that I made a great connection with my supervisors, which is something that I don't often find with a lot of student internships. The online resources they give to work with are very accessible and easy to use, and the tasks provided are tailored to an intern's educational pursuits. Throughout the internship, I learn new terminology and current law necessary to my higher educational goals. Overall, I am incredibly grateful that I had a chance to work with Cooltured. I hope they continue to expand and improve upon their internship program and I look forward to seeing how the company grows and innovates in the future.

What I wish was different

Advice

Communication is key! If you are unsure or confused about your assignment, let your supervisor know right away. They are very understanding and more than willing to help you out. Additionally, Cooltured is not like other internships where they provide a set schedule to work with. Interns are responsible for making up their schedule and acculmating and accounting for their necessary hour requirements. In other words, use your time wisely!

Content Creation Intern

What I liked

I have had a wonderful experience as a content creation intern at Cooledtured! Getting to work with leads that are kind and supportive, and recognize your creative efforts and accomplishments makes the experience so fun and enjoyable. I was able to achieve the goals I set forth coming into this internship in terms of learning and gaining valuable video creation and editing experience, as well as contribute to the increase in social media engagement on their Instagram, Tiktok, and YouTube pages. I am incredibly grateful for this amazing internship opportunity.

What I wish was different

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask questions and communicate any time constraints with your schedule. The leads are very understanding of college and personal life responsibilities.

Cooledtured was a unique internship experience, as it felt much more personal than any other job. I loved being able to talk to someone, 1 on 1, and have a back and forth discussion about my weekly projects. It truly made me feel connected to the company and the people there.

What I liked

This was a great experience for an internship. My superiors were always friendly, communicative, and understanding of my college responsibilities. I learned so many new technologies and techniques working here that I wouldn't have otherwise.

What I wish was different

I would have liked to see more mentoring/help in finding a career. Maybe some help perfecting my resume or more guidance would have been appreciated.

Advice

You just have to be communicative. If you can't get an assignment done in time, speak up when there is still time. Other than that, ask for help but do your best first!

What I liked

My experience at Cooledtured is unbelievably valuable to me. I found the whole experience to be like a college course. I was able to learn new things, practice what I learned, and gain a complete understanding of my tasks. This opportunity introduced me to a wonderful mentor, Chloe. She gave me a lot of career and personal development advice. She and the whole organization always emphasized education is the most important and priority, and that the organization’s internship program’s main goal is to help prepare students to enter the work force. Cooledtured should not change their program’s goal. It is a wonderful organization that focuses on interns. I do not think I could have gotten such an internship experience that is so personal and tailored to me at another organization. This experience is unique to Cooledtured.
