I enjoyed the collaboration among the other researchers on the team and my PI's dedication to scientific advancement.
What I wish was different
I wish I had started researching the topic of our project earlier.
Advice
I would encourage other undergraduate students to be confident. Be confident in your skills as a scientist and be comfortable asking questions.

IT Help Center Student Assistant

What I liked
What I loved about this job is the environment CSUN IT Help Center has. Not just with my fellow co workers, but the mutual respect we have with our clients. Most are more respectful than others but the satisfaction of helping someone that was straitened is always rewarding.
What I wish was different
There is nothing within my job that I wish would had been different. Sometimes our clients can be rude towards us, but that's just how some people are. Other than that, the job is perfect for getting your foot in the door for the range of IT.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share about this experience is to treat everyone with respect no matter how they treat you back. Most of the time, it just doesn't occur to them that you may not know something they expected you to know. Going off of that, also know when you're being disrespected. Don't just take the verbal abuse because you're expected to.
