TRIO is a set of federally funded college opportunity programs that motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds in pursuit of a college degree. CSUN sponsors two of these programs, Educational Talent Search (ETS) and Upward Bound (UB).
The ETS (grades 6-12) and UB (grades 9-12) programs assist students in completing high school and pursuing a college degree. Our mission is to change lives of first-generation, low-income students through promoting access to higher education.
