By the end of my time, I was a trusted resource to the company. They treated me like any of the full time employees and I felt like a valuable asset to the team.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more time. I enjoyed the people I worked with, as well as the construction itself. I wish I understood the planning aspect of the job more.
Advice
Be ready to work. There is no room to slack off, timelines come up quickly. Construction is physical labor, and will take a toll. Pace yourself but never stop moving.
