Advice

Make sure your car can handle delivery driving. It is an insane amount of wear on your car each week and is ultimately the reason I had to stop working. Also if you're closing expect to be getting off an hour after what your schedule says.

Do not do this job if you do not like people. Bad customer service= bad store rating and stats that dominos follows daily, evenly hourly

I worked during the summer rush of tourist season during COVID and I feel like the rush could have been better dealt with.

What I liked

I enjoyed the fact that it was fast-paced and there was always something to do. Additionally, there was ample room for growth, proportional to your own dedication and zest. Finally, the managers there were flexible and friendly, accommodating any scheduling problems one might have.

What I wish was different

Dominos pizza wasn't really the most professional workplace, which is to be expected. However, I do wish there was a higher level of professionalism and maturity in the management team.

Advice

Know what you're going for when you first get in to the job. It's very easy to climb the ranks if you desire so, but not many do for tactical reasons.

I liked the experience of working with other people. I liked being able to take 100% of the tips I make every shift.

I wish the scheduled hours were more flexible so I could continue working during the semester.

Advice

Delivering was a fun job, but you just need to make sure that you are aware of your surroundings and are safe.

What I liked

I like spending the majority of my work time in my car, as it gives me a lot of freedom. Shifts go by fast and it hardly feels like work, as I can just listen to music or an audiobook while driving.

What I wish was different

Consistency is the worst part. Some days you'll take 30 deliveries and others you'll take 8.

What I liked

Personally, I appreciated finding a job during the time of the pandemic and how accommodating the managers were to my schedule needs. They were fully supportive of me taking classes both in the spring, summer, and fall semesters and reworked my schedule to fit the changing availability.
