I get to explore my own skill set and develop my abilities as an educator. I also get to work with a diverse population of visitors, and live in a beautiful home in the park.
What I wish was different
I wish the organization, and specifically the education department, was more organized. It seems like we lack direction, and there's no sense of teamwork or goal setting.
Advice
Come in with established goals, and champion for yourself and your achievements. Also, take advantage of the classes that other educators put on- they're free, and can help you see what teaching styles you do and don't like.
