It was a very close and tight-knit group of people who worked well together. Dorset was a very welcoming community. The leadership was very inclusive and taught us all a lot. They wanted everyone to succeed and created a very welcoming environment.
What I wish was different
Though there were educational lunches, a more consistent basis could prove beneficial in the future for apprentices.
Advice
Do as much as you can. Help other departments if they need it and if your supervisor is okay with it. Network with the visiting actors and designers if you can.
