I loved the family-like connection DFS has. I also loved how every single person is passionate about empowering women.
What I wish was different
I wish we could have worked together in person, but with COVID-19 it was a remote internship that actually went extremely well from home.

Express all of your ideas– they have open minds and love to hear about them.

What I liked
I enjoyed everything I did because I was able to be a part of a non-profit organization that helped women get the clothes they needed for interviews and employment. I was able to be a force that helped to empower women. It’s is something I’m extremely proud of.
What I wish was different
I was only there for a short amount of time. I really wish I could have stayed longer.
Advice
Just be yourself and if you ever need help, just ask. Everyone at Dress for Success are the nicest people you could ever meet!! Definitely do an internship with them!!
