It was a good hands-on experience with social media marketing and analytics. The schedule was flexible and my coworkers were welcoming and friendly. I really enjoyed working in the heart of downtown Dallas, and they were nice enough to validate my parking every day.
What I wish was different
I wish the application/selection process went faster so that I could spend more time as an intern. I applied in late April but did not get to start working until the middle of June.
Advice
Go in with an open mind and try to absorb as much knowledge as you can; relate what you learn during the internship to what you’re learning in class. I recommend taking social media marketing before or after this internship.
