The experience definitely would have been more enriching in person, and many comparable internships paid a little better.
Advice
My internship with Duke-Margolis taught me a lot about how to jump into a new space, and one piece of advice I'd have for this internship is to take advantage of the people you have access to and take initiative to form connections and work on projects.
