What I liked

I have loved everything and more about the experience I have had working for Here. FM. I enjoyed being part of a tech-startup company because you can actually see the positive effects and outcomes of your hard work. Through being in a smaller environment I was able to get personalized guidance from superiors which was very helpful when starting out with a company. This was a fast-paced environment that has allowed me to work on numerous projects while helping me expand my skillset even further. I was able to delve into many different roles which will aid in my preparation for future job opportunities from content creation, social media management, and community outreach.

What I wish was different

I have had such a great time working with the team and for Here. FM. Since I have taken on this role remotely I wish I was able to spend more time in an in-person setting but I have still enjoyed every second spent on Here.FM and with the team!

Advice

Due to this position being remote in most cases I would say that time management and organizational skills are key to making it work out. Since people have different schedules and time zones, you need to be a little bit flexible but mostly have great organizational abilities.

What I liked

I learned so much working for a tech startup like Here.fm. It's such a unique experience that's different from any of my previous work experiences. It's super fast paced and you're always working on new and exciting projects. You get to see the impact you have on the company which is rare for an internship but extremely rewarding. Here.fm gave me a ton of room to grow in my role and to explore my different interests from social media management to user experience research. I highly recommend applying!

What I wish was different

Getting to meet the Here team in person and virtually was always super fun. Since it was mostly remote, I wish I could have met more of the team in an in-person setting!

Advice

Since it's a fast-paced environment, staying organized was super important. Organizational skills are something you will continue to grow in this position. And don't be afraid to ask questions! Everyone at Here wants you to learn and discover your own passions. It's a very supportive environment for that reason.
