The full time staff are very dedicated to what they do. Casual work environment.
What I wish was different
I left my internship at ECHO because I felt my time wasn't being used effectively. Shifts would be pretty long and there wouldn't be a whole lot to do. I was really bored.
My internship was unpaid and there were other college students who were paid employees. I believe that this internship needs to be developed more fully. There needs to be more to do beyond working a cash register.
Advice
I would consider interning in animal care or education.
