Personal Financial Planner Intern
June - August 2019 • Idaho Falls, ID
What I liked
I loved being able to work directly with tenured individuals and get an inside peek at how things are done in the business.
What I wish was different
I wish it would have been longer! I couldn't have asked for it to go better.
Advice
I would say that this career is not for everyone. It can be extremely difficult with high demands and regulations. However, if this is an interest, it is possible to live in many different places.

Branch office administrator
December 2018 • Fort Worth, TX
What I liked
Great work environment, lots of customer service and finance experience. Variety of jobs included in being a BOA so you get experience in a lot of different areas.
What I wish was different
Most of the time it’s only you in the office unless the financial advisor has an in person appointment or a walk in so it can sometimes get lonely but don’t let that deter you.
Advice
This job requires a proactive and fast thinker. If you do receive this job you are pretty much on your own after your training so be prepared to solve problems by yourself and be proactive in solving them before they can come up. Always being one step ahead of the calendar will be one of the biggest helps in this job.
