Fashion is something that I am passionate about and working in a fashion magazine was a dream come true. I really enjoyed the events that the magazine had because I learned that in fashion you need to market yourself with the events you do. My dream is to do marketing by using creativity and the events that I was included in the internship was about that.
What I wish was different
Beside the events I had to do a lot of translations and I really didn't enjoy that time at the office. I do not mind doing translations from English to Turkish but I had to do in Spanish, French, Italian and that was difficult for me because I don't even know how to speak in those languages. I wished that my time at the office was more useful to me.
Advice
I would say that be ready to do everything and speak out your ideas. Don't be shy be confident. People are curious of what you think even though they won't ever show it. Do not take anything personally, it is a stressful place to work but also very fun.
