I enjoyed sharing my past experiences at FDU with the students. I was able to connect with different students and give them advice which would help them in their academic goals and beyond. It felt amazing to be seen as a leader and acknowledge as one .
What I wish was different
I wish that all the students were able to show up but due to the circumstances some students did not want to due to Covid.
Advice
I would say you should be willing to learn along the way and make changes to be the best leader you can be. Remember that you may make mistakes but there is always an opportunity to do better and be better.

What I liked
I loved having the ability to plan orientation training and have a strong influence on the program. I was able to work with students and families as I did as an orientation leader while also being able to have an administrative role with faculty.
What I wish was different
I wish the work I did after orientation with working in the office doing graphic design and other office responsibilities was clearly outlined for me.
Advice
It is so important to have a clear vision for what you want the summer to be and give confidence to your time in that image.
