Family Promise of Northern New Castle County is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that prevents and ends homelessness for families with children by engaging volunteers, donors and faith-based congregations. We envision a community in which all families have a home, a livelihood and the resources for lasting independence. With the support of over 40 congregations, we provide shelter, hospitality and assistance to families. We also serve families via community-based programming to help them secure housing without having to enter shelter. Over 75% of our families secure housing in less than 50 days.
We keep families together, serving single moms, single dads, two-parent households and all ages up children. We are an affiliate of the national Family Promise organization, which includes over 200 affiliates in 42 states.
