What I liked

I LOVE working at the Fargo Country Club! I started there in the spring of 2017, and I have been there ever since. I love the staff and the members most of all. We really are a family down there, we hang out together, were genuine friends on top of being coworkers. My staff was great, they loved having fun, but they also could make correct choices for their jobs. It's been an incredibly two and a half years with them!

What I wish was different

I wish some of the previous managers would have been different. The current management team is absolutely amazing, and they are going to turn that club around. But the management team since I started there was a mess. We have had so much turn over, so many changes, it has been wild. At two and a half years, I am our second oldest employee in the front. It's a wonderful place to work, and I think all my wishes came true when our new management team started.

Advice

BE A SERVER! Once in your life just try to be a server, it was incredibly stressful and frustrating, but it got me some wonderful opportunities (and the money is pretty good!). More so, try something new. Step a little outside of your comfort zone, and you never know how much your resume, and yourself, will grow.
