Working at First Baptist was a wonderful experience! The children's ministry directors tailored my responsibilities to my strengths and were very supportive throughout the summer. My favorite part of the job was leading weekly Bible studies with children from 1st to 5th grade. We also organized a Lock-In to Jesus Vacation Bible School, which was a fun experience for our team and the kids!

Advice
Be flexible and open to trying new things. There are many different needs in the operation of a church, and this is a great time to explore areas that are new to you, like graphic design or curriculum planning.
