The environment of my internship was spectacular. I was able to network with individuals that inspire me, such as Kamala Harris and Cory Booker. I was given a lot of responsibility and trust by my employer.
What I wish was different
I wish I had gotten more hours. I love to stay busy so I wished I would have been on shift more often. I worked everyday but our shift times revolved around the chambers. I also had to spend money on metro services, so there was an imbalance in my income and expenses.
Advice
I would recommend having another job positioned lined up along with this one. I sincerely learned several significant skills from this job, but if you like to stay busy- get another part time position.
