I loved that I had an opportunity to work at a rancher in a new area through Fort Hays. It was a great opportunity to meet new people and gain new skills.
What I wish was different
I wish that my internship would have required more duties and personal responsibilities. I feel like I did not get a chance to do the job I was hired for but still learned some valuable things.
Advice
If you ever work for the rancher in Wakeeney be sure to speak up and ask to perform jobs.
