The leadership team showed us all aspects of the company. We got to see the perspectives of all the heads of each department. At various times throughout the summer we went on tours to different farms where we would observe the inner working of a company getting financial assistance from the bank.
What I wish was different
The pay is notable at less than what would be desired for a business internship. Concerning the responsibilities, there was less structure on what to expect from week to week with the workload.
Advice
This was a great opportunity to learn the inner workings of a bank. It is the perfect size to see how a large company should be organized and the work divided, but also small enough to meet personally with all the executives and be invited to pivotal meetings.
