I liked that it was part time, remote, but still had interaction with my boss via Skype.

Nothing, they operated in a reasonable manner

Do not be afraid to ask questions, talk about the assignment and if you are struggling accomplishing it. Also may sure to ask about your performance and any suggestions or references they may have for you.
